Class Structure
The school is divided into 2 classes: Foundation and Key Stage 1, called Beech, and Key Stage 2, called Maple. Children can join Beech Class in September in the academic year in which they have their 5th birthday. They start with half days to begin with. The children continue through the school with the oldest children being 11 years old and preparing for their move to secondary schools.
Our year groups are small with excellent pupil-teacher ratios. Highly qualified and talented teachers and assistants provide a stimulating and challenging environment in which children can learn. Classes are of mixed age and ability with the work being tailored to individual pupils' needs.
