Kingsdon Church of England Primary School |
Our school was built in 1872 by the Church. The original building houses a fully networked ICT suite and library, Headteacher's office, secretary's office and staff room. The two classes are now accommodated in a new double Elliot building at the rear of the school.
The school roll is usually around 30. This constitutes two classes; Beech Class with 4-7 year olds (Foundation Stage and Key Stage One), and Maple Class with 7-11 year olds (Key Stage Two).
There is a large grass playing area with a climbing frame, and a hard surface playground marked out for playground games. The school also has its own sports field within the village only five minutes walk away.
As well as our own facilities, we use the Village Hall for dance, drama and indoor sports.
Every week for two terms we go by coach to Strode Swimming Pool in Street.
